The company was originally formed in 1980 by Anne & Gerry Boobis as Edward Leitch Limited. It's creation was initially as a wayfinding consultancy and installation company.

The business has progressed into the design and manufacture of modular sign systems and with it a rapid growth pattern. In order to reflect its move into the modular sign system market,  the company changed its name to Info Sign Systems.

As part of its strategic analysis Info Sign Systems set up a specialist division in order to concentrate on project management of corporate branding and are extremely proud of its successes so far. Being of the opinion that we are only as good as our last project, Info Sign Systems is continually re-evaluating itself and is on an ever evolving programme of self improvement. Our aim is to offer the best value for money programmes in the market.

Info Sign Systems has now successfully integrated the business of Nova Polymers Europe to form a division ideally suited to the supply and distribution of signs and processing equipment for the DDA market. It is worth mentioning that we were the original the sponsor of The Sign Design Guide, jointly published by the JMU and the Sign Design Society as the definitive signing document for the provision of Braille and Tactile signs.
