Liverpool Echo Arena

14/10/2008

The Echo Arena is one of the most prestigious new concert venues built in recent years in the UK. Designed by the award winning architects, Wilkinson Eyre, it was constructed at a total cost of £164 million.

The sign brief was to create two signs of supreme quality which would not detract from the cutting edge 3 dimensional iconic construction. The client, Trinity Newspapers was keen for the sign to be visible from the other side of the Mersey. Additionally, with the environmental impact to the fore, the use of low power LED halo illumination was chosen to ensure low running costs over the life of the sign.

What did our client think?

“Info did a great job for us. It was a difficult project in the first place given building design complexities and the sheer size of the signs. There were various project and engineering difficulties to overcome which Info handled with total professionalism, and all aspects of their service to us was superb. The end result is very rewarding. Our signs are so big, they can be seen from quite literally miles away, and their impact has helped consolidate and strengthen our brand association with the new Arena in Liverpool.”
